  • Everyone in alcohol and drug treatment services has a legal duty to keep information about patients confidential and great care is taken to ensure that high standards of confidentiality are maintained. More information will be found in our leaflets and factsheet which will be available via this page soon.

  • The RO tool was developed as a key component of the Drug & Alcohol information System (DAISy) with the aim of providing a consistent and comparable picture of recovery for drug and alcohol services users across Scotland. There are three key aspects to this work supported by the Scottish Government:
    • The development and validation of a Recovery focused outcomes tool
    • A pilot of the practical application of that tool
    • The future integration of the RO dataset into DAISy
    • A pilot implementation process is currently underway in East Renfrewshire, Glasgow, Aberdeenshire and Angus. For more information on the tool, guidance and training please go to the SSKS website: http://www.ssks.org.uk/topics/drugs-and-alcohol/recovery-outcomes.aspx
    • The latest version of RO Guidance can be found here Download Word file

  • Some minor changes have been made to the DAISy dataset including the removal of the BBV test results. Please note that we are still working with the Scottish Drugs Forum on the Drugs section. The current version of the dataset v2.2 is now available to download here Download Excel file [97KB]
