Primary Care Activity

Information on the workload in primary care is available from ISD's Practice Team Information (PTI) and Quality & Outcomes Framework (QOF) web pages.
PTI includes information on consultations in general practice, including those with GPs and the wider practice team and presents this information for a variety of diseases, including coronary heart disease (CHD) and cerebrovascular disease (CVD) diagnoses.
QOF includes information on disease registers for various conditions, including heart disease and cerebrovascular diagnoses.
Prevalence estimates are also available from PTI and QOF and guidelines for interpreting such estimates are offered there too.
