Compound Healthcare Headings Model
The CHH Model has two functions.
- The Compound Healthcare Headings (CHH) model provides navigation to a range of national and international information resources. This can help health and care providers understand and share information consistently, effectively and efficiently across all care settings.
- The model provides a structure with a hierarchy and defined headings. This can aid system management as information can be stored consistently under agreed headings to allow consistent storage to support easier retrieval and sharing of information.
The functions can be used during system development or to ‘healthcheck’ a legacy system.
