There are over 80,000 Read codes available.

PTI practices are encouraged to choose the Read code that most accurately matches the description of the patient's problem.
Through analysis of PTI Helpline enquiries, the PTI team have created an alphabetical list of over 1800 Read codes (Read Version 2) which are a combination of difficult and frequently used terms. The dictionary has been designed to aid with coding for PTI practices. It is organised alphabetically for ease of use.
