Mental Health Information

Our vision is to be a valued partner in the improvement of the quality of mental health care by improving mental health information.

Programme Summary

The Mental Health Information programme aims to:

  • Generate high quality information via primary data collection and secondary data analyses
  • Work in partnership with other organisations to ensure that programme outputs are relevant to key stakeholders in the field of mental health care (e.g. policy makers, practitioners, academics, media)
  • Provide objective and scientifically rigorous interpretations of mental illness data/information, and
  • Support national level working groups through the provision of technical advice on uses of information and its generation
