CABS - Casemix and Benchmarking System

CABS offered Access based analyses of inpatient and daycase Trust activity, comparative analyses within the Trust - between consultants and specialties - and comparative analyses with other Trusts.  All analyses took into account casemix complexity.

Following a review of ISD?s products and services CABS production has been stopped as a routine package.  The reason for this change in policy is one of resources and competing demands necessitating a review of our existing services. 

In the near future we hope that many of the data analyses currently available in CABS will eventually be transferred to the Access to National Data (ACND) warehouse and be produced as electronic reports updated monthly (with additional functions etc.).
