2005 Overview of NHS hospital dental service activity
Consultant-led, Hospital Dental Services are provided in the Dental Hospitals of Glasgow and Dundee, at the Edinburgh Dental Institute and in acute general hospitals. Dental Hospitals usually cover all dental specialties, while the main specialties in acute general hospitals are orthodontics, oral and maxillofacial surgery and a limited provision of restorative and paediatric dentistry.
