Protecting Personal Health Information - Information Guide for Patients
ISD Scotland provides NHS Scotland with the information required to deliver integrated health care and to plan and monitor services. To do this we collect and analyse large volumes of data on patients, services and staff. We put a lot of effort into ensuring that this is done securely and safely and that our data processing is done to the highest standards of security and confidentiality we can attain.
To help inform patients and the public about the ways in which NHS Scotland uses their data to manage and improve services, we have produced an information leaflet:
