Welcome to the revised ISD inpatient, day case and outpatient activity pages. This new presentation aims to give easier navigation to summary information around patients treated on an outpatient or inpatient/day case basis within NHSScotland.

This section of our website provides the latest information about outpatient, inpatient and day case activity within NHSScotland based on nationally available information routinely drawn from hospital administrative systems across the country. 

Annual and quarterly information on inpatient and outpatient activity is included in this Acute Activity publication.

Outpatients	Annual and quarterly outpatient activity.	Financial years 1999/00 to 2008/09 and quarters ending to March 2010.
Inpatient and Daycases	Annual inpatient/day case activity, procedures and diagnoses. Quarterly inpatient, day case and outpatient activity. Length of Stay. Multiple and All Emergency Admissions.	Financial years from 1990/91 to 2008/09 and quarters ending to March 2010.
Allied Health Professional and Nurse Led clinics data	Allied Health Professionals and Nurse-led clinics activity.	Financial years from 2007/08 to 2009/10.
Day Surgery and Outpatient Procedures	British Association of Day Surgery (BADS) surgical procedures and outpatient procedure actvitiy.	Financial years 2004/05 to 2008/09 and monthly data from April 2009 to December 2009.
