Weekly Clinics

When a clinic is only held one day a week, and the patient is unable to attend on that day, what unavailability should be recorded?
If the patient is not recorded as being unavailable for a specific period of time and has been made a 'reasonable offer' then the patient should be considered to have declined a reasonable offer of appointment or admission. The waiting time should be reset to zero from the date the patient declined the second appointment or admission date offered. If the patient will not make themselves available on the specific day the clinic is held and there are no other alternatives, the patient can be referred back to the original referrer.
