Patients registered with new GMS (17J) practices by NHS board and age group

The table below shows the age distribution of patients registered with newGMS (17J) practices in each NHS board, as at 1 October 2007.

The calculation of average practice list size for Scotland, NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde and NHS Lothian, excludes a small number of specialist service practices that, by their nature, have a small patient list size.

1 Comprises patients registered in practice type new GMS (17J).
2 Excludes practices which do not have registered patients and which are run directly by the NHS Boards e.g. Out of Hours Services centres
3 The calculation of average practice list size for Scotland, NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde and NHS Lothian, excludes a small number of specialist services that, by their nature, have a small patient list size.
