Notes on the data downloads below
  • Not all practices are included in the analyses.  The reasons for this are explained in more detail in the Questions & Answers document for this publication
  • Data for the former NHS Argyll & Clyde (dissolved after 31st March 2006) are presented in two parts, corresponding with the practices that from 1st April 2006 come under the responsibility of enlarged NHS Highland and NHS Greater Glasgow areas
  • Some of the practice level files are large and may take time to download
  • It is essential to take note of each practice's contract type.  In particular, many practices with section 2c or 17c contract types may use only some of the QOF indicators, as part of an individualised quality framework.  This means that zeros may appear against individual indicators for those practices, however it should not be taken to mean that such practices are not providing a high level of service to their patients
