Dental news and updates

This section on Dental Information has been updated on 29 January 2008 in accordance with National Statistics protocols.  In this release, quarterly registration data are published as at 30 September 2007.  The registrations are published at the following geographical levels; NHS Board of Residence, Community Health Partnership (CHP), Local Council Area, Scottish Parliamentary Constituency and Scottish Parliamentary Region.  Workforce figures for the General, Community and Hospital Dental Services are published as at 30 September 2007.  The Hospital Dental Service section is also updated to include information for financial year ending 31 March 2007.  Our'Statistical Publication Notice' explains some of the key points from this release.  The Dental Home section provides some background information on how dental data are collected.
