Dental news

This section on Dental Information has been updated on 31st August 2010 in accordance with  National Statistics  protocols.  In this release, data will be published on NHS General Dental Services (GDS) registrations for quarters ending 31st March 2010 and 30th June 2010.  The registrations are published at the following geographical levels; NHS Board, Community Health Partnership, Local Council Area, Scottish Parliamentary Constituency and Scottish Parliamentary Region. Information on NHS GDS courses of treatment and fees paid to dentists for treatment provided to children and adults upto financial year ending 31st March 2010 will also be published. Our Statistical Publication Notice explains some of the key points from this release. 

The  Dental Home  section provides some background information on how dental data are collected.
