Unintentional Injuries
Injuries in adults by CHP
Community Health Partnerships (CHPs) are relatively new organisations that are being developed across Scotland to manage a wide range of community based health services. CHPs are designed to further improve the way local community health services are organised and managed and to develop closer partnerships between community health, social care and hospital based services. As such, it is important to be able to examine how the levels of unintentional injury vary in each of these areas.
Table 8 shows how the standardised discharge ratio varies across the CHPs. It is important to note that some ratios are based on small numbers and may vary significantly from year to year.
Further breakdowns of emergency hospital admisssions and deaths at CHP level can be found in the Interactive Information section.
