Headcount

Excludes Performer locums.
CHP = Community Health Partnership; CHCP = Community Health & Care Partnership
The Scotland total comprises actual headcount of GPs, rather than GP posts therefore it may not equal the sum of the different CHP/CHCPs.
Comprises GPs working in practices which are not attached to any CHP/CHCP in the following NHS Boards: NHS Grampian (20), NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde (4), NHS Lothian (3).
For the All GPs total, each individual GP performer is counted once per CHP/CHCP that they work in, even if they occupy more than one post within the CHP/CHCP.
On 1 April 2007 North and South Edinburgh CHP amalgamated becoming Edinburgh CHP.
