3 The Scotland total comprises actual headcount of GPs, rather than GP posts
    therefore it may not equal the sum of the CHP/CHCPs.
4 Comprises GPs working in practices which are not attached to any CHP/CHCP in the following NHS Boards;
   NHS Grampian: 11 Male, 9 Female. NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde: 2 Male, 2 Female. NHS Lothian: 3 Female.
5 On 1 April 2007 North Edinburgh CHP and South Edinburgh CHP amalgamated to become Edinburgh CHP.
