Our quarterly newsletter provides information on the activities of the Programme and that of related projects and audits with connections to the Programme.

It is available to browse on-screen or download as a PDF file for printing. If you are interested in receiving the newsletter by email, please  contact us with your details and we can include you in our distribution list for future issues.

Although we are a single Programme dealing with coronary heart disease and stroke information, the two are separated on ISD's web site to highlight the distinction between the two in terms of their epidemiology and service provision.

We have also traditionally included information on other forms of cardiovascular disease and this is a reflection of the broader remit of the Scottish Government's 2009 strategy "Better Heart Disease & Stroke Care Action Plan ".

For more in-depth analysis, the detailed tables mentioned above are available to download from our various Topic Areas. These tables are offered as Excel format and also, for import in to a variety of different analytical software packages, comma separated value (CSV) format for certain tables.

The site-map provides an overview of the content of both the coronary heart disease and stroke web pages.

If you know what you're looking for, and know it's on our web pages, you can use the  list of tables to find specific content more quickly.
